Listen to your feelings. They are trying to tell you something important. Understand what your feelings are telling you.
As I was writing my previous post, it occurred to me that how we react to anything or anyone is the same as how we react to the word God. You see, it isn’t just about God, but everything. How we feel about money. How we feel about our beautiful earth. And most importantly, how we feel about ourselves.
When you think of a person that hurt you and you get a knot in your stomach, there are feelings still tied to that person. Your body and your emotions are telling you that you are not thinking of that person with love.
If you think of someone and feel anger or sadness, here is a place that needs to be healed. Feeling anger or sadness only harms you. It keeps you stuck in that pattern. Consequently, It is keeping you prisoner.
Only when you can think of others with compassion and love, can you truly know that you no longer need to feel bad about what happened. In every moment, we decide who we are and who others are.
Take a minute to think about it
When someone hurts us, we believe that we are unworthy of love. We deserve to be treated unkindly because we are not good enough in some way. We suffer and we struggle because deep down we believe that we aren’t worthy, we aren’t good enough and most importantly we don’t deserve to be loved.
On the other hand, when you know who you are, the words of others and the actions of other people cannot cause you any pain. All you see is THEIR pain. And all you can feel is LOVE.
Fortunately for you, this is all in your mind. And this is something that you have the power to change. All you have to do is choose different thoughts about it.
